RW Armstrong is looking for a Business Devleopment Professional with Bachelors Degree, 5-10 years minimum experience in Business Development and a proven ability to develop and maintain clients in the consulting industry. The purpose of the position is to develop business opportunities within the central Texas region. Using excellent communication skills and marketing techniques this person must develop relationships with a wide variety of key people within social, political and municipal organizations, as well as state agencies for the purpose of developing projects and partnering opportunities. This person must comprehend and be knowledgeable of all aspects of the company for the purpose of marketing these services. Furthermore, this person must establish strong relationships with the various project managers and technical staff within the company in order to interact effectively and for the purpose of projecting a strong corporate image to both clients and potential clients. The ability to choreograph team members and develop a strategic approach to winning work, and to facilitatethe development of winning proposals is a must. Prefer architectural and engineering experience with state and local government relationships. Knowledge of regulatory agencies such as TxDOT, City of Austin, TCEQ, SAWS and LCRA preferred.
